My pet has a mild bacterial infection but he is very pleased with the improvement he gets. He has been giving his doxycycline to him since he was a young cat but has been very surprised by how quickly his symptoms improve. He has been getting regular flea and tickeverywhere but has not seen any improvement at all in his condition. I would give him plenty of water and give him doxycycline before any medications start to affect his behavior. Allow him plenty of water. Note:regards to my pets. I give my pet doxycycline every other day. We do not use it with grapefruit juice because that decreases its effectiveness. Discontinue if necessary. If your pet does not get any better, talk to your veterinarian.
